Getting Started Before The Wedding
Your schedule will get busier as the wedding day gets closer. It's wise to begin dance lessons six to eight months prior, giving yourself ample time to practice and gain confidence. Starting lessons well in advance allows your body and mind to coordinate movements smoothly. Some couples even start earlier, enjoying social dance styles and looking confident on the dance floor.

If you have a particular song for your first dance, bring it to your lessons. Your instructor will help you create a dance routine to match your chosen track. Coordinating with your wedding videographer can also ensure that every special moment is beautifully captured on video.
-
At The First Dance, you're not limited to just one style. Our instructors will suggest the most suitable style of dance to match your song and wedding theme, sometimes involving a mix of different styles. Your first dance can be a traditional ballroom dance like the Waltz to energetic ones like Salsa and Swing. Even lesser-known styles like Hustle and Mambo can make your wedding day unique. Our instructors will help you decide the dance that fits your style and makes your special day even more memorable.
